When can a child start with Little People?
The classic range, including the farm, the houses, the school bus and the animal packs, is made for ages 1 to 5. The age is printed on every product page.
Why are character sets marked 18 months?
Sets with Disney, Barbie, My Mario and DC Super Friends figures are generally graded 18 months and up.
How the toys work
What does Smart Stages do?
It gives a set three levels of songs, sounds and phrases, switched by the parent, so the same farm or bus stays interesting as a child grows.
Which toys need batteries?
Anything with music, lights or speech. Some include them and some do not; the Barbie Cupcake Truck, for example, takes 2 AA that are not in the box. The store listing says which.
Do figures from different sets mix?
Yes. Figure packs join any playset and the vehicles are sized for the standard figure.
Is anything multilingual?
The Big Yellow School Bus speaks English, Spanish, French and Brazilian Portuguese. The Farm Animals Music & Learning Set has English, French, German, Italian and Dutch.
How many riders fit the big bus?
It comes with nine figures and seats up to twelve.

How do I clean the figures?
Wipe with a damp cloth and mild soap, then dry. Do not put electronic sets in water.
